Bizarre: (adjective) Out of the ordinary; odd, extravagant, or eccentric

Chasm: (noun) A deep cleft in the surface of the earth

Companion: (noun) One that keeps company with another

Elaborate: (adjective) Marked by complexity, fullness of detail, or ornateness

Frantic: (adjective) Marked by fast and nervous, or disordered activity

Historian: (noun) A student, or writer, of history

Hoax: (transitive verb) To trick into believing or accepting as genuine something false and often preposterous

Quirky: (adjective) Having a peculiar trait

Rival: (noun) One of two or more striving to reach or obtain something that only one can possess
