What does the South Dakota state flag look like?

When did South Dakota become a state?

South Dakota became a state in 1889. The United States Department of Treasury will recognize all 50 states by producing a commemorative quarter of each. The program started in 1999 and will continue through 2008. This website highlights the quarters already produced.

There have been 1,884 Senators since the establishment in 1789. As of the 107th session, only 33 of the Senators have been women.

When are the Dakota Pathways shows aired on SDPB?

Throughout the school year Dakota Pathways will air on Mondays and Fridays from 2:15pm – 2:30pm CT. Also, we air Dakota Pathways during the overnight schedule. The overnight schedule can be accessed on the Internet at http://www.sdpb.org/ , in our monthly SDPB Magazine, or in our weekly education newsletter. What age group is Dakota Pathways designed for?

Originally, the show was designed for South Dakota 4th graders; although, Dakota Pathways is enjoyed by people of all ages.
